Collection: Unstable(62)

In this series, the bird in the painting is not stretching comfortably. It pulls its neck in, hunches its back, and tucks one foot up, curling its body into a tense ball. This posture doesn't show ease, but a deep sense of caution and self-protection.

The rock the bird stands on is top-heavy and looks like it could tip over. This precarious state hints at living in turbulent times. Added to this are the withered lotus flowers with their drooping leaves. All these elements together convey how people living in that era truly felt about the unstable  world around them.Just like where we are right now.
