Two Peacocks

This is for the unsung heroes at home. 

Success in our careers always depends on the quiet support from our families.

Inspired by this, we designed two peacocks.

One stands high, displaying its feathers and receiving applause. The other stays around, quietly catching insects that might disturb the performance.

This peacock could also stand high and show its beautiful feathers. It could also receive applause. But often, it stays out of the audience’s sight, giving support silently.

Today, many women in China have joined the workforce, yet they still carry most of the household responsibilities, just as in the past. The tradition of men working outside and women taking care of the home hasn’t really changed.

So, with this design, we want to give applause and the spotlight to those who fold away their bright feathers and contribute quietly at home.
