Nihilism

China is often seen as a place deeply influenced by nihilism, largely because its core philosophies explore the concept of "emptiness." However, many people struggle to approach this idea from a beginner's mindset and embrace its creative potential, mistakenly interpreting it as nihilism. As a result, a vast discourse on nihilism has emerged in China.

When discussing nihilism, Chinese expressions tend to exhibit two distinct characteristics: they are highly subtle and never completely succumb to despair.

Inspired by this traditional way of engaging with nihilism, we have designed the "Nihilism" personalized gift series.

The compositions feature elements like sparse branches of an old tree and precariously balanced rocks, symbolizing the melancholy and absurdity of life.

However, the two eagles in the design are not entirely defeated. Their eyes are rectangular, with pupils pushed firmly against the upper lids, casting a defiant glare at life's absurdities.

This embodies an unyielding attitude—a refusal to surrender.

This series conveys the idea of facing absurdity with a cold stare and soaring above nihilism with resilient wings.
