In traditional Chinese culture, people often compare themselves to chrysanthemums to express a sense of detachment from worldly values that differ from their own.
This design series pays tribute with chrysanthemums to those who choose to distance themselves from the hustle and bustle of the world and refuse to blindly follow the crowd.
A key visual feature of this design is the integration of calligraphic elements into the composition. This is because in Chinese art, calligraphy and painting complement each other, working together to enhance the artistic depth of the image.

Even if you don’t know Chinese characters, you can still tell at a glance that the elements on the left and right fit together perfectly.

We deliberately highlight the harmony between the chrysanthemum—a symbol of staying true to oneself—and other elements, aiming to show that there is no need to fear being different from the crowd, because you will always find like-minded companions.
