Decision-maker

The decision-maker of a family determines the happiness of its members. If they choose to fish where there are no fish, the entire family will live in sorrow.
Based on this idea, we designed these two water birds fishing in a place with no fish. The bird that decided to fish here is fully focused on deceiving itself, insisting on continuing.

Meanwhile, the family members already have faces filled with sadness due to repeated disappointments.

We often feel the heavy responsibility of being a decision-maker. A wrong decision doesn’t just lead to one’s own suffering—it also brings hardship to the loved ones who depend on them.

Through this design, we convey two messages:
First, when making decisions, avoid a gambler’s mindset and always ensure risks are controllable.
Second, the more decisions one makes, the more important it is to pursue knowledge eagerly and tirelessly. This is absolutely crucial.
